The system: the whole firm, module by module
CaseFlow is one system for the whole law firm. This page walks through the modules in the order of a working day: from the morning dashboard, through cases and documents, to billing at the end of the month. In every module the smart assistant prepares and proposes — and the lawyer approves.
Dashboard and daily brief
The morning starts on one screen: what needs attention today, which hearings are near, which tasks are overdue and what is stuck in collection. The daily brief gathers the court notices that arrived and were filed into cases, the proposals awaiting your approval, and the deadlines coming up.
- A deadline keeper that warns before it is late, by procedure type and court.
- A task board by status, priority and due date, linked to the case and the assignee.
- One search across cases, clients, contacts and documents, and a quick command bar for every action.
- 14 practice areas that change the navigation, dashboard and fields to fit the firm.
Cases and clients
A hierarchical case tree with parties, counterparties, the court file number and the full history of every case. Opening a case or adding a party runs a conflict-of-interest check that blocks before a problem is created, not after.
- A client card with every case, document, charge and conversation in one place.
- Contacts: parties, witnesses, experts and counsel, linked to cases.
- Firm-level permissions: who sees which case, and who may change what.
Documents and signatures
The firm's documents are created from templates with the case data already filled in: pleadings, affidavits, powers of attorney and agreements, built in and adaptable to the firm. Editing happens in Word, the tool the team already knows, in two-way sync with the case.
- Full branding: the firm's logo, headings and a uniform design on every output.
- Versions and status tracking for every document: draft, awaiting signature, signed.
- Remote digital signature: a secure link for the client, signature tracking, and the signed document returns to the case.
- PDF tools: merge, split, annotate and extract text.
Legal research inside the case
Two research modes, both from inside the case. A focused question returns a short answer in seconds. Deep research returns a reasoned analysis with sources, saved to the case, annotated and opened in Word to keep working. Every result is a draft the lawyer reads and approves.
Billing, collection and accounting
The hour logged on the case becomes an invoice without copying anything. 14 fiscal document types with continuous numbering, automatic allocation numbers with the Israel Tax Authority, payment links and card processing, retainers, and trust accounts with a ledger per client.
- A fee timer and time entries by case and activity.
- Expenses await approval before they are charged.
- Reports for the tax authority and the accountant from the same system.
The Israeli courts system (Net HaMishpat)
The courts system inside the app, with the lawyer's own smart card. Court notices reach the right case and are proposed as a task and a calendar date, and the lawyer approves the filing with one click. Nothing is filed, sent or changed without your approval.
Integrations
20 built-in integrations in six categories, each with one connection test: courts and government, accounting, payments, productivity and video, cloud storage and communication. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, WhatsApp, Green Invoice, iCount and more. The guides explain how to connect each service.
The smart assistant
The smart assistant is built into every screen and can carry out more than 50 actions at your request, in plain language: open a case, draft a document, prepare a charge, file a court notice, set a date. Every result waits in the proposals inbox until the lawyer clicks "Approve". The firm decides what the assistant may do, and every action is written to the audit log.
